BBQ K Korean Buffet @ Solaris Mont Kiara

After long time did not go for korean food so this time we decided to try the buffet style. BBQ K was located at Solaris Mont Kiara shop lots behind Maybank. It opens at 11.30 am till 3pm and their rest time was 3pm to 5pm and operates again after 5pm. Weekdays will not as crowded as weekend. If you plan to go on weekend or dinner time you better make reservation to avoid disappointment. Lunch time price was RM 38 while dinner RM 45. They provided quite a lots of pork meat, chicken, squid and also bacon for the lunch session. It will definitely a right place to go for those who loves bbq pork.

Here are some selections of the buffet:

They have korean rice, fried rice and some soup.

Lets start to grilled our pork meat!

Its ready! Yummy time...=P

We ended up with full of pork meat in our tummy. So delicious. It was a great satisfaction for those who love pork like me. Their service was not bad also as they will help you to cook the pork , just that they close at 3pm for the rest time which means have to finish before 3pm. This is one of the reason which made me feel a little bit dislike because if you went late for example at 2 o'clock you can only eat for an hour which is really not enough for a buffet session as the bbq did take some time to cook.
Everything written is based on my personal opinion. Hope all of you enjoy reading it.

Coffee Amo @ Jalan Sultan

As recently a lot of posts about 3D coffee art. So here we go trying out this coffee shop which draw free 3D coffee art. Coffee Amo located at the street of Petaling Street which same row as Nam Heung chicken rice and just right beside of the Swiss Hotel. It was at upstair level one. They recommend their signature drink but we ended up choosing this two type which not too bitter in taste.

Caramel Macchiato RM 10
They was jokings where the coffee art is just for girls. At first we thought of it for real but then it was just a jokes. The 3D coffee art was simple and the price was not so cozy. The coffee smell was okay and the coffee taste nice and not very sweet.

Caffe Latte RM 10
Taste normal but the hello kitty 3D art was really cute.

They going to sink soon.

Homemade Belgian Chocolate Cake RM 10
Not very special and it was just like the normal chocolate cake. They do not have the nutella cake on that day and all the cake we wanted to try is not available. Quite sad with it. Will be back to try out others cake soon.

The environment was pretty quiet and a good place to chill or revision.
Overall not bad.

Salon Du Chocolat @ Publika

Chocolate?? Who don't love it???
Let me recommend one of the best chocolate dessert in town for all of you. Salon du Chocolat opened in Publika Level G2 in front of  Ben's. When the first visit I ordered the Brownies Crepe and Molten Cake with Ice Cream.

Brownies Crepe RM 24.50
It was so so delicious! This crepe was folded with brownies and three kinds of chocolates.

Molten Cake with Ice Cream Rm 13.90
This molten cake taste was almost same with Dip and Dip. For me it was nothing really special.

Second Visit

Chocolate Waffle RM 15.50
This chocolate waffle was so so delicious as well. They separate dark chocolate and milk chocolate in two small waffle. The dark chocolate taste very good so do the milk chocolate.

 Third Visits

 Chocolate Crepe RM 14.90
This chocolate crepe taste very good also. I prefer dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate as the base for the crepe. They able to decorate wording for birthday girl as well and it look nice.

Palsaik Korean BBQ @ Solaris Mont Kiara

Palsaik Korean BBQ first shop was open in Solaris Mont Kiara. The korean bbq restaurant that famous of 8 type of marinated pork. The menu did not have much choices. It was located at Block J level 1 facing the highway.

Herb

Wine

Miso Paste

Ginseng

Hot

Pine Leaves

Curry

Garlic

Seafood Soup
Taste very good.

Different kind of vegetables they provides.

They help us to cooked the pork as usual a lot of korean restaurant will do this.

The menu they had which is not much choices and the price was not cheap. The portion we order costs us RM 112 which comes with seafood soup which only enough for 3 people. The pork doesn't impress me well although it was juicy as the BBQ pork was non different than other korean restaurant. The 8 taste doesn't really have much taste as stated there except curry, as I feel they did not marinate it longer enough as part of the reason but the seafood soup was good. They charged services taxed as well.

This is the side menu and single portion of different taste pork.

They provides water also.

We went afternoon that's why not really have much people.
Overall comment it has nothing to shout for and I might or may not coming back for second visits. It depends. I prefer Gangnam88 which located in the same places rather than this.

El Cerdo @ Changkat Bukit Bintang

Nose to Tail Eating

Has been seeing a lots of people went this restaurant and finally my turn to try. We decided to go dinner. The environment was classy and the food was cozy as well. They have set lunch with cold appetizer buffet which costs around RM 44++ to RM 48++. From nose to tail eating. Haha... Lets start with the appetizer.

German Mini Sausages Wrapped In Bacon On A Skewer
RM 28
It serves with sauerkraut and mashed potato. The bacon was the pork bacon which wrapped up mini sausage. The taste was perfectly good.

Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak
RM 48
This is one of their signature dish where it was well marinated for 48 hours with the finest paprika, herbs, onions, garlic and mild dijon mustard. For my personal taste, it was one of the best pork shoulder steak in town.

Oven Roasted Iberico Spare Ribs
RM 88
This ribs was one of their signature dish as well. It served with pineapple salsa. The taste was sooooo good.  We eat this by using hand whereby they provides us with the wet towel. Almost after every dish we finish they change the plates for us.

Spaghetti with Mix Seafood
RM 35
It was cooked with Lobster cream. The spaghetti taste more like black pepper sauce rather than Lobster cream.

Pasta Cavatelli RM 35
It was cooked with cheese and smoked pork shoulder ham. The taste was more roughly like  Asian style. It was recommended for those who usually like tomato and cheese. I would prefer this rather than the Spaghetti with Mix Seafood.

Paella Con Mariscos
 RM 95
It was the master of all. Haha..
This paella can be share by two person and used around 40 minutes preparation time so it was the last that came on the day. It cooked with king tiger prawns, squid and scallops. And well, to be honest I wasn't really like the taste but my mom loves it. According to her, the taste was really special and it was for me too.

Dessert of the day
 Home Made Tiramisu  RM 22.5
Tiramisu with touch of mango sauce was really special. We order dessert and they decorated this way for any birthday celebration in the restaurant. They sang birthday song and brought it to the front of the birthday boy. On that night itself we heard more than 10 times birthday song and thats why the free small piggy was out of stock. Haha... The juices according to them, they will provides and its free and I could slightly taste alcohol in it.

Cheers for the birthday boy!

Not a selfie! haha..

Overall the Spanish food experience was really great and almost all the signature dish and other dishes taste great and of course it was cozy. To add on they did not provides any sky juice. I feel they should improve this.
